Engelberg is in the sunny basin under the north face of Mt Titlis. Enjoy approximately three hours at leisure to discover the village surrounded by majestic mountains at your own pace. Take in a moment of silence in the imposing baroque church of the Engelberg Abbey with Switzerland’s largest organ. Walk across the monastery garden to browse through the flower shop run by monks or continue to the show dairy to learn more about the famous Swiss cheese. Order a cheese platter at the café for your personal tasting experience or buy local delicacies as a souvenir.

Hike one of the well-prepared trails
The beautiful surroundings or take the funicular up to Gerschnialp to enjoy beautiful vistas of Engelberg. Take a short walk to the mountain restaurant and treat yourself to a delicious Swiss meal before you whizz back down into the valley by Trottibike scooter (summer) or sledge (winter).
