A medieval town in Umbria region
In Assisi, the Franciscan headquarter, in addition to the Church of St. Francis, there are a lot of place to visit such as the Nuova Church and the Church of St. Chiara, who celebrated St. Chiara, the first devoted to St. Francis.

You will see many works of art just walking around, including the delicately carved Fontana Maggiore (Great Fountain).
